Biography

Point Blank is a record producer and emcee based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

He gained notoriety in the underground Hip Hop circuit with the release of his debut album entitled Mic Check, which was the first ever full length Hip Hop album by a solo artist to drop in Mozambique.

Better known for his wordplay and diverse flows, the rap tactician is fully independent and has done everything, from the production, printing and distribution of his content, selling from his boot, at shows and inretails stores.

Point has released and collaborated on multiple projects with various artists from across the globe, such as DJ Papercutt, Mazzi (S.O.U.L Purpose), Zubz, Snazz D, Simba, Jess The Facts, Intelektu, Albert Iron, Nhati Kayi 1, among others.

In addition, Point has performed at the biggest Hip Hop festival in Africa, Back To The City Festival, and shared stages with some of the culture’s heavyweights like EPMD, Vast Aire (Cannibal Ox) and Copywrite.
